YOU, YOURSELF, AS MUCH AS ANYBODY IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE , DESERVE YOUR LOVE AND AFFECTION “- BUDDHA

Having just celebrated my 37th birthday I took few minutes on the day to reflect on the past year. On my previous birthday I took a decision and made a promise to spend the next twelve months living positively. The plan was to give my life a much needed communication and get to know myself again. It is so easy to forget who you really are, after becoming a wife and a mother. Knowing who you really are and what makes you tick helps you to learn how to honestly criticise yourself. It teaches you to learn not to keep making mistakes or repeat patterns that brings unhappiness to your life. A part of growing up is to be able to listen to your own inner voice and trust your own judgement. In my past experiences I have learnt that trusting your gut is the first step to knowing who you are. Your instinct builds a relationship with yourself. Having a relationship with yourself first and when you are able to have a conversation with yourself will bring challenges. You will question yourself and the decisions you take a lot but towards the end you will fully understand and appreciate the outcome. Once you know who you really are, you will then learn to start living your truth. When you start living your truth you will learn to stop living your life to other people’s expectations and definitions. Living your truth teaches you to know what is best for you by changing how you do things, who you let in your life and space. When you start making better choices and taking those big decision in your life it will bring genuine happiness.
