I never understood what was the fuss all about Bali until I visited the island in Indonesia. Since that first trip I took, my fascination on the tropical destination has grown. Millions of tourists like myself visit every year and I doubt it will change or even slow down any time soon. I have put my top 10 reasons why I visit Bali every year and I hope they will inspire you to book your holiday there.
Bali is one of the safest island in the world to travel to. You can visit with family, friends or even alone. Something I have done myself. For tips on travelling alone read my blog here : https://nontoli.com/2020/01/22/how-to-travel-solotips-on-travelling-safe/
THE WARMTH OF BALINESE PEOPLE
People in Bali are the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever come across. I am sure most people who have been to Bali will agree with me on this one. And they always make me feel at home.
Through out the island and every corner you turn you’re bound to be inspired by their traditional art. I can vividly recall how my first trip there inspired my macrame pieces for my Fashion Design Graduate Collection.
CLEAN EATING AND HEALTHY OPTIONS
I don’t know if Eat Pray Love is to take credit for making Bali a place to travel while getting healthy. It is always hard to stick to a healthy eating habit when you are travelling. In Bali there are so many restaurants and cafe’s serving organic , vegan and raw food. Some places even offer eating clean options in their menus, making eating healthy while you are on holiday a trend.
There is so much choice when it comes to accommodation , dining and excursions. A Bali trip won’t leave you skint and with right planning and budgeting you can have a holiday like a king or queen. Everything is affordable in Bali and the only decision you have to make is if you want the experience of backpacking, hostels, private villa or a resort. NATURAL BEAUTY AT IT BEST
Bali Indonesia is a blend of stunning beaches, temples, gardens, landscapes and lush greenery scenes that will leave you gobsmacked and blown away. Talk about natural beauty at it best.
BEACHES, CANYONS AND WATERFALLS
I am not one of those people you will call “water babies” but I do appreciate the beauty of Bali beaches, canyons and waterfalls. I even believe there is a beach for anyone and every mood.
I love how celebrations, cultures and traditions are still practised in Bali. Throughout the year you are bound to come across some sort of celebration going on. Some of those celebrations will allow tourist to join in and witness them.
I decided to adopt Bali as my spiritual home because I am never the same after every visit. I always feel like I have had a spiritual awakening of some sort. Somethings inside always shift. It draws you to the whole island and you find yourself booking your next flight there.
Balinese people are very spiritual and they believe in karma and they pray everyday. With beautiful temples spread across the island it will leave you with spiritual awakening.
