I cannot believe this is my first ever interior related post on my blog! I have been promising to share how the house styling is coming along. For those who follow me on social media like Instagram you will know I have been posting some tips on interiors. And for two years now I have been working on our home. I’m even embarrassed to confess that I am no where near finishing. But you know what they say about working in your home, it never ending. For me the contribution to that is the fact that I’m too busy plus I keep changing my mind and not finding the right items I want at reasonable costs. Anyway lets get on with what this blog is about. I thought the first interior blog will be focused around the master bedroom since it is 60% ready. I wanted to share my tips on styling accessories that will give your bedroom the luxury look without breaking your balance.

1. SCATTER CUSHIONS, QUALITY BEDDING, BEDSPREAD & THROWS

Getting the best bedding is important, by best I mean good quality. And if you can opt for one colour bedcovers. Use stylish scatter cushions and elegant throws and bedspread to bring the look together. Different cushion sizes layer the best.

2. CANDLES & REED DIFFUSERS

I love how candles and reed diffusers add a touch of elegance plus it keep the room smelling beautiful. There’s endless options of brands to try and price range to fit everyones budget.

3. ART & DECORATIVE ACCESSORIES

I believe that art and decorative accessories like perfume trays brings a certain mood to your bedroom. Don’t rush into deciding what art work to get. If you are not sure or still saving for a statement piece be creative as I have done with my gallery.

4. BOOKS

Books are great way of styling any room and they bring so much personality . You can stack them up or have them on their own with other styling pieces or floral arrangements.

5. FLOWERS & THAT POP OF COLOUR

I am not a fan of too much colour but I still believe that every room needs that one pop of colour and a colourful floral arrangement or house plant to liven up the rest of the decor.
