A lot has happened since the start of this lockdown. We have seen the bad at the beginning, the good and the ugly of this pandemic. It started with people panic buying and we have seen how the people have come together to appreciate those working in the frontline. But the ugly has been the death of so many and their families not even able to give them a proper sent off. With only few days left for the announcement of what will be the future of this lockdown while the fight still continues to find the cure. The lockdown had to happen. It was a struggle at the beginning as we all struggled but we knew why. Time has to slow down. Things that I thought were important I realised were not. I had more time to myself and with family. I had more time to bond with all corners of my home and I really enjoyed spending time at home. There are so many lessons and benefit I will take away from this lockdown. I also know that my life and those close to me will never be the same. This pandemic have definitely change the world and the way we do things. Nothing will ever be the same and that is a fact. Going into the future I will enforce investing in myself even more which I have done by resting, self – care, relaxation and making enough time for everything.
